YEH JEFFFREY

Jeffrey Yeh, a Taipei-based modern artist and private instructor, who was born in 1975 and had earned his B.A. degree in Illustration major from Academy of Art University in San Francisco. In his recent endeavor, he’s been working toward achieving a world of possibility that is embracing untamed colors, brush strokes and creativity. He explores and probes with his creation, as art in itself is a ongoing task for him. In this particular exhibit, he is presenting a series of three different aspects of his recent work. Series 1: “A Happy Camper - Pi Xiu” — a Chinese mythical animal embellished with western artistic style that morphs into an innocent character who possesses pure charisma. Series 2: “Five Chinese Mythical Animals” — a traditional Chinese subject matter depicted in bold and abstract western style - to visually emphasize the contrast of the eastern and western conceptual ideas. Series 3: “Whimsical Forest” — multimedia, to elevate the enjoyment of merging into the visual experience of childlike innocence by utilizing strong brush strokes to create hallucinating spaces filled with blocks of vibrant colors and a walk through the whimsical dimensions.
