創作一直是以模型與城市的關係為主例如2012年的模型-事件 移地計畫 台南k’s art或是2012年的 藝術家的安全區 鳳甲美術 都是以觀察城市的現象創作。

近期所關注的是人與城市之間的關係,這個城市的建立是來自於人的慾望,所以也許這個城市是分為海面上與海面下的世界。因為分層(分工)所以才能讓這個城市運轉。

而人居住在城市空間裡似乎習慣了某些秩序與行為,因此在2013年出版了一本書《一頁又一頁的房子》藉由翻動每一頁書的動作,讓城市模型藉由一點一點透漏訊息的方式產生故事的敘述性,希望能讓觀者重新閱讀我們所居住的城市。

創作一直以來是利用模型,現成物,透過物體的材質轉換,隱喻出在城市中到底隱含著哪些不知名的規則?透過透明的材質我們能看到一個我所想像的世界。

持續前行進步的城市是不是真的有如我們想像中的美好?為此我創作了關於城市的另一個面向,破碎、荒謬、非線性思考的獨立時空,即便我認為它必須被看見,但你永遠可以有自己的選擇。


Su’s artwork is always focus on the phenomenon of the cities. Recently, she pays attention to the relationship between human and the cities. In her opinion, people use to construct the city according to human desire. So, she thinks maybe this city will divided into two parts: one is above the sea, the other is under the sea. Stratification or division is the way to operate the city.

Besides, according to her observation, people who live in the urban space use to follow some intangible order or behavior, so she published a book "page after page of house" in 2013. When flipping each page of this book, the story of the city will reveal little by little, and reader can get some information about the model of the city where we live. All she wants to express is wish the viewer who seeing her works can re-read or re-think about our city.

Su is always uses ready-made stuff or model to create her works. Through the conversion of real object become an art work material, which is indicate that there are some implicit orders in the city and people use to obey without any questioning.
